How to design your hands-on cybersecurity training

Train the Trainer course on 23 June 2023 (10:00-13:00 CET) that aims to better equip EDIHs to train SMEs and public institutions on the basic know-how, methodology, materials and experience required to provide cybersecurity training in their own organisations.

The training covers the cybersecurity training design process and exercises from various points of view, presenting lessons learned and the author’s know-how gained over years of designing exercises and hands-on training for commercial customers. The use of Cyber Range for hands-on technical training is also presented. 

Course topics include:

• Training methodologies (European Cybersecurity Skills Framework, NIST, NICE Framework)
• The training design process with examples
• Management of active training
• Training use-case walkthrough 
• Demonstration of hands-on technical training
