The event offered a unique opportunity for decision-makers, advisors, researchers and farmers to discuss the future of European agricultural knowledge and innovation systems (AKIS). The conference attracted more than 250 participants from over 30 countries, both in person and online. The event initiated a lively professional dialogue and exchange of experiences on how agricultural knowledge and innovation systems can adapt and develop within the framework of the future Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

The interactive workshops in the afternoon sessions sought to answer how AKIS supporting projects, thematic networks and advisory networks, as well as various regional development initiatives contribute to AKIS, what challenges they face, and what tools and solutions can be used to address them. Several European initiatives were presented in the workshops, including EU-FarmBook, ATTRACTISS, PREMIERE, Soil-X-Change, CarbonFarmingCE, RAMONES, ClimateSmartAdvisors, AdvisoryNetPEST, OrganicAdviceNetwork, COREnet, EU4Advice, FOSTER, as well as AEDIH and the South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network (SEASN).
