DIH of Moldova

The consortium was founded as a private not-for-profit initiative between the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), Association Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, COR Creative Industries Association in Moldova, Moldcell Foundation, Startup Moldova, Inotek, Hygia, Business InnoHub, Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, Ancd, Agency for the Development and Modernization of Agriculture, ECOEnergetica, AFAM - Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Moldova, MoldCluster.

The DIH of Moldova fully aligns with the objectives aiming to complete the European Network of EDIHs by providing high quality digital services to SMEs and public sector entities across the country. The hub consolidates existing capacities to support digital transformation with a focus on inclusion, accessibility and strategic integration into the European digital ecosystem.

Our positioning supports us in developing cross-border partnerships with relevant entities from the Romania (EDIH Digital Innovation Zone, EDIH Transilvania Digital Innovation Hub) and Ukraine.

Target groups: 1) Traditional SMEs and mid-caps; 2) public state organizations as municipalities and educational institutions.

For these target groups, Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova offers the following services:

TEST BEFORE INVEST - Raise awareness and provide or ensure access to expertise, know-how and digital transformation services, including testing and experimentation facilities. Technologies: process automation, artificial intelligence, internet of things, cyber security, cloud, product innovation, HPC.

DIGITAL SKILLS - Development of advanced digital skills (for example, by coordinating with education and private providers to provide short-term training for workers) and provide access to training.

ACCESS TO FINANCE - Offer support for companies, especially SMEs and start-ups, through services such as access to financial institutions and investors, supporting the use of relevant national and European funding mechanisms. Through this service, some beneficiaries will receive free consultation regarding access to European funds and national programs in the digitalization area, entrepreneurship development, and financing (consulting, coaching, access to financing as a service).

ECOSYSTEM BUILDING AND AWARENESS - Bridging the collaboration between the industry, businesses and administration that need new technological solutions on the one hand, with companies, especially start-ups and SMEs, that have ready-to-market solutions on the other. Organizing brokerage events and participating in economic missions abroad.
