service offer: Collect mobility data

Cities, municipalities, and regions face the challenge of further developing mobility services in a targeted manner while balancing environmental and societal objectives. As a follow-up service to the presentation of mobility platforms, the platform will be implemented within your service area for a limited period. Voluntary participants will, with their consent, record their daily journeys, modes of transport, and trip purposes such as commuting, leisure activities, or shopping. This creates a robust data foundation that provides clear insights into how mobility is actually experienced and where specific needs exist.

An integrated incentive and gamification module encourages active participation and enables comparisons based on factors such as distance traveled, mode of transport selected, or CO₂ savings achieved. The pilot program is conducted in two phases of two weeks each and concludes with comprehensive analyses and concrete recommendations for action—making it an ideal first step toward the professional implementation and continuous development of a mobility platform.

services and benefits

This service enables you to deploy a mobility platform in a practical, real-world setting to capture mobility needs within your area based on data and establish a solid foundation for future mobility services. You will have the opportunity to generate and analyze real user data and derive concrete measures from the results. As part of this service, you will learn how to:

  • Implement and operate a mobility platform, including backend and frontend components (app/web), on a pilot basis within your service area.
  • Systematically capture, analyze, and transparently visualize the actual mobility behavior of your users.
  • Evaluate journeys, trip purposes, and modes of transport in detail to identify existing service gaps and opportunities.
  • Increase user participation and actively promote sustainable mobility through incentive and gamification mechanisms.
  • Develop concrete recommendations for new or optimized mobility services based on the results of the pilot program.
