This Train the Trainer course is designed to share insights into how we organise and deliver High-Performance Computing (HPC) training. Participants will learn about our approach to selecting training topics, the platforms and tools we use, strategies for engaging with target audiences, methods for collecting feedback, and how we manage and nurture contacts.
In addition, we will demonstrate how we leverage our supercomputing infrastructure to support the hands-on components of our training. Participants will gain an understanding of how we prepare and configure our HPC systems for practical exercises, ensure accessibility for attendees, and integrate real-world computing resources into the learning experience.
Who should attend?
Trainers and educators from EDIH representatives who are looking to enhance their skills in designing and delivering training programmes, not limited to HPC topics. The event will be particularly valuable for those interested in incorporating hands-on components using various computing infrastructures. While we will demonstrate this through access to supercomputers, the approaches discussed will be applicable to a wide range of training contexts.
