Healthcare Hackathon Bavaria – Hack until the doctor comes!

Do you want to help make the healthcare sector in Germany more innovative?

After a successful Healthcare Hackathon Bavaria in 2024, we're moving on to the next round, and you can once again help make Germany's healthcare sector more innovative!

At the Healthcare Hackathon Bavaria, you'll have the chance to work with other creative minds over 2.5 days to develop innovative and progressive solutions that will advance our industry. You can get involved in challenges related to digital health. We'll present the exact challenges here at a later date.

We cordially invite IT experts, nurses, doctors, trainees, students, and anyone who wants to make a difference in healthcare to the Healthcare Hackathon Bavaria. Let's come together in Munich to turn innovative ideas into real solutions or products.

The hackathon begins on December 4, 2025, with the challenge and mentor presentations, as well as networking opportunities where hackers can get to know their mentors and ask questions about the challenges. This is followed by a relaxed hackathon dinner.

On December 5, 2025, the hackers will choose their desired challenge and then hack until the doctor comes! On December 6, 2025, the teams will enter the final stages of finalizing the final details before pitching their respective solutions, followed by the awards ceremony.

Be a part of the change and get involved today – either as a hacker or a sponsor.

The kick-off event on December 4, as well as the pitches, will be held in English.

We are particularly pleased that Judith Gerlach, the Bavarian Minister of State for Health, Care and Prevention, is serving as patron of this exciting event.
