Introduction to deep learning

Train the Trainer course, which took place on 6 June 2023 (10:00-12:00 CEST), aimed to better enable EDIHs and their representatives to provide introductory-level training on deep learning to their client companies.

This course provided an introduction to deep learning, a class of machine learning algorithms that are revolutionizing our world. The aim of the course was to familiarise trainees with the workflow of a deep learning algorithm and impart the main concepts behind the training of such models.

Topics included pillars of a deep learning algorithm, how the training of the model happens, some examples of the most famous architectures and some future perspectives, including Large Language Models.

All supporting materials, including the video recording and the presentation slides, are accessible to registered participants on the e-learning platform.
