Train the Trainer course on Thursday 12 December 2024 (11:00-12:00 CET).
Part 1, of this course presented by EDIH-NWNL, will provide a comprehensive overview of the commercial and industrial refrigeration markets. This section will not only explore the digital transformation of the refrigeration equipment but also address and examine the challenges and benefits of the different advancements in the field.
Part 2 will present the success story of FreezerData, a refrigeration technician service provider, that tracks different parameters of refrigeration equipment and provides immediate warnings of potential problems. This part of the course will explore how FreezerData sought to develop a "virtual service mechanic" powered by AI to help address the challenges faced in the industry.
In the Netherlands, there is a large shortage of refrigeration technicians, which often causes delays in repairs of refrigeration systems. This issue highlights the need for a more efficient way to distribute knowledge and ensure quicker decision-making in the field of refrigeration technology. In order to tackle this challenge, FreezerData set out to develop a "virtual service mechaninc" powered by AI that could answer technical questions and serve as a knowledge base, much like an experienced technician would.
FreezerData sought to develop their idea by partnering up with EDIH Digital Hub Noordwest, together they were able to test and expand the “virtual service mechanic” providing a solution that not only addressed the technician shortage but also enhanced operational efficiency.
