Success Story: ESG Assessment Reinforcement for SME use

Part 1 of this course provided by EDIH Rheinland, will present a short introduction into the challenges regarding ESG reporting in the supply chain management. The related laws and guidelines for the supply chain management market will be briefly examined and it is shown how ESG Chain will help to overcome those challenges.

Part 2 will present the success story of ESG Chain, a company from the IT sector that has revolutionize supply chain management through the use of AI and Blockchain. ESG Chain allows SMEs to navigate global markets with ease, as they make sure companies comply with the supply chain law, according to the ESG criteria, ensuring they respect the minimum standards for social, environmental and governance standards.This second part of the course will explain and examine how ESG Chain partnered up with EDIH Rheinland to test and improve their management of potential risks. This section will detail how this opportunity allowed the company to assess their software and develop a multi criteria risk assessment procedure, and how this has helped businesses improve the sustainability in their supply chains.
