Description
Finnish AI Region (FAIR) is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) helping SMEs, mid-caps and public sector organisations adopt, test and scale artificial intelligence solutions. FAIR provides free or subsidised services covering AI advisory, experimentation and test-before-invest activities, skills development, access to finance, and connections to European AI ecosystems and infrastructures. Acting as a one-stop gateway, FAIR helps organisations move from initial AI ideas and readiness assessment to proof-of-concepts, implementation and responsible deployment of AI solutions. FAIR also provides access to expertise in data, high-performance computing (HPC), extended reality (XR), cybersecurity, and emerging European AI infrastructures.
FAIR is delivered by a consortium of leading Finnish universities, cities and innovation support organisations, including the City of Helsinki, City of Espoo, Aalto University, University of Helsinki, Tampere University, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Enter Espoo, KIRAHub and 28 Digital. FAIR's mission is to help organisations transform AI opportunities into practical, trustworthy and impactful solutions that strengthen competitiveness, innovation and sustainable growth.
