Part 2 will present the success story of Mindchip OÜ, an Estonian deep-tech company that is revolutionising maritime navigation with an AI-based machine vision system for autonomous ships. Mindchip OÜ is focusing on making maritime industry cost-effective by developing autonomous self-adaptive captains that adjusts to different sea vessels. As Mindchip OÜ partnered with AIRE to develop their initiative the main challenge they encountered was integrating this system in order to allow reliable identification of other ships and buoys to ensure safer navigation. Accordingly, AIRE provided assistance in the form of test-before-invest services, AIRE networking events, training events, support to find funding and assistance to collaborate with other EDIHs.
This services and support provided by AIRE have allowed the company to not only advance their product but also to take the next steps to bigger investments.
