Train the Trainer | Good Practice

Train the Trainer course on Thursday 14 November 2024 (10:00-11:00 CEST).

This session is divided into two parts, which are designed to offer valuable insights into building innovation ecosystems that support the goals of the European Green Deal.

The first part will focus on creating a corresponding innovation ecosystem in Ukraine and the Baltic Sea countries aimed at driving progress towards the European Green Deal. This session will explore how strategic partnerships and collaboration across borders can foster innovation and contribute to the sustainable transformation of key sectors.

The second part will present a good practice that exemplifies how this innovation ecosystem approach may help accelerate progress toward the Green Deal’s objectives in the Baltic Sea countries and also in Ukraine, even amidst the challenges of war. The case will demonstrate how the engagement of various stakeholders, including SMEs, public sector organizations, and research institutions, can drive innovative solutions in areas such as clean energy, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture.

The main challenge being addressed is the creation of a robust and collaborative innovation ecosystem that aligns with the European Green Deal’s goals in priority sectors like renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable industry practices. The success story will highlight how these regions have worked together to overcome barriers to innovation, secure funding, and implement impactful solutions that contribute to the green transition.
