1. SKILLS AND TRAINING
For SMEs
By pooling a large number of experts, HDS spread knowledge, inspire, and engage to increase the ability of SMEs to implement and innovate in AI based service development, cybersecurity and HPC, and thereby also contribute to competitiveness and regional sustainable growth. HDS provides different opportunities within AI and supports how these are implemented in the company’s own business model to accelerate growth and/or streamline operations. The focus is on the core innovative technologies, as well as on business development, including intellectual asset management using intellectual property rights etc.
For public sector
Methods for impact assessment and systems requirements analysis are areas with large training needs. Digital training, analysis of work processes linked to digitalisation and case-based competence development in change work are all already produced by the partners within HDS. Additional foreseen formats include hosting conferences, seminars, and inspiration days on topics relevant to target groups e.g., digital leadership, AI-based data-driven decision making, agile methodology, data sharing and open data, as well as cybersecurity and risk mitigation.
2. ACCESS TO FINANCE
Partners within HDS have extensive experience in gaining access to soft funding, and a well-established network of investors. HDS will focus on strengthening access to Invest EU and Enterprise Europe Network for SMEs. The 18 partners include several incubators and innovation offices supporting HDS with different investment activities.
3. ACCESS TO INNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS AND NETWORKS
HDS innovation ecosystem refers to an interconnected network of different actors, all of whom contribute to a flow of information, knowledge, and resources to co-develop capabilities around health data. HDS is an open ecosystem where partners, public and private sectors and citizens interact, including the network with other EDIHs in Europe.
4. TEST BEFORE INVEST
HDS offer test services meeting international market needs related to digital health services related to AI and health data. This enable SMEs to test their digital health services beyond the need for effective development with more tailored services that create value for the organisation and the individual. It also simplify, create acceptance, and speed up implementation and access to digital health services; and provide the public sector with safe and secure testing from experts on processes and available standards and legal frameworks.
5. HEALTH DATA DEVELOPMENT
By optimising accessibility of health data for SMEs, research, and public sector, HDS attain similar levels of access in all regions and for international regions through knowledge transfer. HDS conducts a comprehensive survey of companies offering health data as services and products, and explore data transfer between industry and research, to simplify/accelerate the process from innovation to finished product.
