The Women in AI Thematic Working Group (TWG) will be officially launched at the upcoming EDIH Network Summit, marking an important step in strengthening women’s participation and leadership in artificial intelligence across Europe.
The new working group brings together representatives from European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) and other stakeholders committed to fostering a more inclusive AI ecosystem. Its purpose is to ensure that women are not only users of AI technologies, but also active contributors to how artificial intelligence is developed, implemented, and governed in businesses and society.
The Women in AI TWG will serve as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives. Participants will share best practices, identify barriers and opportunities, and explore policy and operational measures that can help more women become entrepreneurs, innovators, and decision-makers in the field of AI.
The official launch session at the Summit will provide an opportunity to introduce the group’s objectives, discuss priority themes, and invite interested EDIHs and partners to join the initiative.
By connecting expertise and initiatives from across Europe, the Women in AI TWG aims to contribute to a more diverse, innovative, and competitive European AI ecosystem.
All Summit participants interested in artificial intelligence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusion are warmly invited to attend the launch session and contribute to the discussion.
