Oksana Zakharkevych

Oksana Zakharkevych is a Professor at Khmelnytskyi National University, where she leads the Research Office and teaches at the Department of Technology and Design of Sewing Products. With over 20 years of experience, she has grown from a passionate apparel designer into a recognized expert in the digital transformation of the textile and fashion sectors. Today, Oksana actively bridges the gap between science and business by coordinating international initiatives like the EDIH CLOTEX-HUB and contributing to major European projects such as Horizon Europe’s U_CAN and Erasmus+ 3D4U. Her work focuses on practical innovations, including computer-aided design and the development of "smart" clothing tailored for the needs of both military personnel and civilians. Known for her ability to turn complex academic research into real-world solutions, she is dedicated to advancing modern fashion education and helping the industry adapt to a digital and sustainable future.
