Essentials of industrial automation

Train the Trainer course, which took place on 18 August 2023 (12:00-14:00 CEST), was addressed to EDIH team members:

• that needed to develop or update their knowledge in the field of automation
• to improve their ability to provide automation training to SME / PSO clients

Basics of Industrial Automation was an intensive course that covered the fundamentals of automation in a practical and easy way, such as engineering, sensors, pneumatics, electric drives, control technology and PLCs. Terminology, such as the Industrial Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, was also addressed to provide perspectives that relate to the wider context of industrial automation.
