Opening of Call for Proposals for the EDIH Network in EU/EEA

We are pleased to inform you that the Consolidation of the Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) with Reinforced AI FocusDIGITAL-2025-EDIH-EU-EEA-08-CONSOLIDATION-STEP call is now officially published for the EU/EEA participants.

This initiative aims to further strengthen the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs by focusing on advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities within the network. It offers an excellent opportunity for your Hub to consolidate its position and continue contributing to the digital transformation across Europe.

Please take note of the following key details:

  • Call Reference: DIGITAL-2025-EDIH-EU-EEA-08-CONSOLIDATION-STEP

  • Eligibility: All recognized European Digital Innovation Hubs from the EU/EEA area

  • Deadline for Submission: 14 May 2025, 17:00:00 Brussels time

We strongly encourage all eligible hubs and stakeholders to review the call and submit their applications within the established timeframe. Detailed guidelines and application documents can be found on the official page of the EU Funding and Tenders Portal.

2025 Call for Proposals for the EDIH Network in EU/EEA: Information Day

The European Commission organised the 2025 Call for Proposals for the EDIH Network in EU/EEA Information Day on the 3rd of April 2025. This event officially marked the opening of the first call of proposals, and provided a great opportunity for participants to address any outstanding questions they had.

This session focused on providing more details about the first EDIH Network call for prosposals, introducing a general overview of the call text and timeline. During the session the European Commission provided an in-depth analysis of the Participant Portal, explaining the application and evaluation process and the submission system. 

Additionally, this session included a comprehensive overview of the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) and an interactive Q&A session that gave the chance for participants to raise unresolved questions.

EDIH Network 2025 Call: second informative webinar

This webinar offered EDIHs the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming Call for Proposals for the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Network.
