Giulia Carsaniga is Policy and Project Officer at the European Commission’s AI Office, where she works on AI innovation and policy coordination. In particular, she is project officer for European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) in Germany and for the Testing and Experimenting Facility agrifood TEF. As policy officer, she focuses especially on AI literacy and skills policies. Previously Giulia worked in IT consulting for German and EU public administrations. Her academic background is in economics (Free University of Bolzano and Université de Namur) and public policy with a specialization in policy analysis (Hertie School and National University of Singapore). Her mother tongue is Italian but she speaks fluently English, German and French.
