Digital Impulse Hub

Digital Transformation is not only about technology, is also about building the capacities, the support ecosystem , the green and ethical framework that allow end users: SMEs, small Midcaps and Municipalities the adoption of technology. In Catalonia there are state of the art infrastructures and digital technologies, but the adoption of digital innovation is still slow and difficult, especially in the fields or AI, Big Data, Cybersecurity, HPC, Cloud, VR and AR and also in the international e-commerce and e-business e-intelligence, among other Digital technologies. Digital Impulse Hub is gathering in its consortium, the triple Helix players, to achieve its purpose: to foster, speed and secure the Digital Transformation of their target groups: SMEs and small Midcaps and Local Public Administration (Municipalities). A special sectorial focus on manufacturing, e-commerce, digital international business, Edtech and New Digital Media as well as supporting Digital Start ups and Deep Tech start ups is making Digital Impulse Hub the right instrument, for Digital Transformation, Innovation market readiness, that is ethical, inclusive and green. Partners: Coordinator CCITerrassa Politechnic University of Catalonia, CITM- Fundació Politecnica de Catalunya, Open University of Catalonia, 100 % online University (UOC), General Council of Chambers of Catalonia (Including the 13 Catalan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services- Afiiliated CCIB), Localret (representing 850 Catalan Municipalities, almost all), and Three City Councils with Flagship projects in the field of Digital Start ups, Industry 4.0 and New Digital Media (St. Cugat, Rubi and Terrassa City Councils-PAC). The project will reach all companies in Catalonia Region through the Chambers company Census and communication databases 675.000, 854 Municipalities through Localret Databases and will provide seamless service with EEN and Clusters (Comertia, Edutec and Cluster Audiovisual).
