EXPANDI 4.0

Slovakia urgently needs new impulses to re-establish its competitiveness in digital age. EXPANDI 4.0 shall support companies, regional and national institutions and policy makers - in finding the adequate technological solutions for implementation of I4.0. We share a vision of raising the level of industry digitalisation in Slovakia. Besides understanding the underlying technologies such as IoT, Big Data, AR/VR, AI, ML, sensor systems, robotics, additive manufacturing, predictive smart maintenance, etc. from numerous implementations done by partners of EXPANDI, we gained extensive experience in supporting companies in implementation projects, preceded by proving their concepts in test environments and boosting innovations by various measures. The digitalisation projects must be driven by clear objectives to increase their competitiveveness. A dedicated group of sales-experts will establish leads and follow-up contacts with companies and public entities to offer them services of our EDIH and reach the targeted numbers of supported entities. We will provide them with digital proof that the concepts fit their expectations and help them to find the necessary financing. We shall assist with education of key company staff and we shall help the whole ecosystem to grow. The provided services will focus on 4 main pillars: Trest before invest -Skills and Education -Support in Finding Investments -Ecosystem and Training EXPANDI 4.0 shall use the financial support of EU and national resources, the tools and measures provided by Digital Technology Accelerator (DTA) and the collective knowledge within EDIHs network to help numerous Slovak companies: - to stay globally competitive, resilient and environmentally sustainable; - to develop competitive manufacturing skills of digital age; - to become part of a powerful innovation ecosystem.
