InnovTourism DIH

InnovTourism DIH was designed to act as a key reference within the Portuguese and European digital innovation ecosystem, supporting SMEs, Start-ups, and PA in the sector to strive for their digital transformation processes, thus directly contributing to the Digital Europe Programme strategy of bringing digital technology to businesses, citizens and public administration.

The HUB consists of a not-for-profit one-stop shop offering strategic services and tools aimed at increasing organizations digitalization, sustainability, competitiveness, production, and commercialization of products or services. A tourism industry-dedicated innovation HUB in Portugal is the ideal opportunity to generate regional, national, and European-level digital solutions through technological experimentation, finance and business advising, training, and skills development, supporting organizations developing inexistent solutions, in full alignment with the European Digital Innovation HUB spirit.



The HUB action will strategically cover specific technological domains like Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT, Biometrics, Virtual Assistants, Medium and Advances Digital skills, Gamification, AR/VR, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Predictable Modelling, Geolocation, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity. These topics will stand as a reference within the HUB services InnovTourism DIH is a non-profit, public-private cooperation between ten entities, coordinated by NEST  Tourism Innovation Center Portugal (Cluster), followed by UniNova (Technology Interface Center), IPLeiria - Instituto Politécnico de Leiria (Entrepreneurship Knowledge Center), Algarve STP (Technology Developer), Beta-i (Accelerator), Turismo de Portugal (Tourism National Promoter), ACIFCCIM - Associação Industrial e Comercial do Funchal & Camara de Comércio e Indústria da Madeira, TTC "The Tomorrow Company" (Technology Developers), FI Group and Deloitte (Consultants).
