NEURAL is the EDIH designated candidate by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development for the Veneto region, one of the most competitive regions in Europe. It aims at facilitating the digital transformation process of the Veneto private companies and promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of the Public Administration (PA). It aims to become a partner to support step-by-step Veneto enterprises in their Digital Transformation Journey, planning on serving 900 entities in 3 years. It is focused on 2 DEP key technologies: AI and CS. It is specialised on the following digital enablers: Blockchain, IoT, Big Data Analytics, Advanced Robotics. In line with the DEP goals and the National and Regional policies, it will promote the uptake of AI Blockchain and CS solutions not only as efficiency tools but also as drivers of innovation and new business models. It is designed to act as one stop shop for Companies and PAs by offering a full set of innovation services to support digital and green transformation in different economic sectors. It deploys an interoperable services portfolio (developed on the basis of an analysis of the needs of SMEs, Mid-Caps and PAs carried out through specific market sector studies) organized into 4 categories: Test Before Invest, Advanced Upskilling, Access to Finance and Innovation Ecosystem and Networking. The proposition is completed by services of engagement and visioning and with the possibility to adapt to the market needs by designing new services in case of specific needs. The Consortium is made up of 17 beneficiaries and affiliates, including RTOs, business associations, a Compentece Center and a leading investment bank. The partners' high reputation guarantees project maturity, the provision of qualified services and access to the best infrastructures and facilities available on advanced digital technologies, as well as networking being strongly connected with National and EU ecosystem.
