As a senior consultant and researcher, Dr. Andrea Lösch has been actively involved in the running of various research projects, in the project acquisition and management across several national and international funding schemes (Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, CEF Digital, Digital Europe, BMAS, BMBF, BMWI, INTERREG, etc.). Her work includes cross-cutting issues regarding data management (including data sharing, data processing, GDPR). In 2015, she started working in the Department of Language Technology and Multilingualism at the DFKI where since 2017 she became Head of the Data & Resources Group until moving to the Department of Cognitive Assistant Systems (COS) to take over the lead of Networking Office of EDIH Saarland. In addition to EDIH Saarland, she was also in charge of several service contracts of the European Commission, running, among others, the largest European network for language data collection (ELRC). She was also responsible for the conception and implementation of more than 90 workshops (both for industrial and public sector target groups) as well as 6 international conferences.
