Digital twin as a tool for agriculture

With a view to Industry 4.0, it can be said that digital twins are making a noticeable contribution to digitalization in many areas.
 

But where is the potential for digital twins in agriculture? Where can digital twins be used and what functions do they have to simplify processes in agriculture and offer precise digital support?

In close cooperation between companies and scientific institutions, we would like to work with you to develop an overview of the topic of digital twins and to examine established concepts of digital twins for their applicability in AgTech and agriculture. You are cordially invited to present your views and experiences in the field of digital twins in pitches of max. 10 minutes. We will then cluster and evaluate the areas of application and functions of digital twins regarding their potential for use in agriculture. This could form the basis for a temporary AVF working group and could, for example, lead to a joint white paper.
