"HiPEAC network" Learn how your EDIH can collaborate and benefit from this world-class network in computing systems

In this individual session, which took place on 18 April (13:30-14:30 CEST), the HiPEAC initiative and its relevance to the EDIH Network have been explained in detail.

HiPEAC (High Performance Embedded Architecture and Compilation) is the premier focal point for networking, dissemination, training and collaboration activities in Europe for researchers, industry and policymakers in relation to computing systems. Today, its network is the biggest of its kind in Europe, numbering over 2,000 specialists.

HiPEAC’s mission is to: advance computing systems as a discipline in order to secure and strengthen Europe’s leading position in computing systems that support all aspects of modern society; prepare the next generation of world-class computing systems scientists and engineers in Europe by supporting their academic and professional development; build a dynamic ecosystem for the design and implementation of computing systems in Europe by bringing together European research, industry, SMEs and policy; and to align and strengthen research efforts in computing systems across the EU, identifying the systems’ long-term challenges and impact on modern society.
