Train the trainer course on Monday 7 April 2025 (14:00-15:00 CET).

Part 1 of this course provided by Digital Impact North presents an overview of the exciting world of SME digitalisation and digital platforms. This part of the course explores its types, markets, application sectors and the benefits associated with them.

Part 2 presents the success story of Umeå municipality. Umeå is a city in northern Sweden known for its commitment to sustainability, education and culture. This part of the course explains how the municipality partnered up with Digital Impact North to tackle a common problem in rural areas, companies’ low level of digital presence. Join us on this course to understand how they were able to help companies meet local demand of products and services digitally through the establishment of a place-based digital platform.

This course provides the opportunity for participants to explore innovative ways to foster the digitalisation of micro SMEs, especially those involved in rural development.

Additionally, at the end of the presentation the trainer will share key takeaways to help others working with or planning to work with Digital Impact North.
