Get ready for the second edition of the EDIH Network Summit, taking place on 26 and 27 November at The Egg Conference Centre in Brussels. This year’s summit promises lively discussions on today’s most critical topics: AI challenges, digital transformation and cutting-edge cutting-edge solutions and digitalisation approaches in diverse sectors.
This is your chance to connect with key players from the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network, including representatives from national authorities and industry experts.
Day 1: Leading voices on AI and innovation
The event will be opened by Roberto Viola, Director General of DG CONNECT (Directorate General of Communication, Networks, Content and Technology) at the European Commission. The first day is all about artificial intelligence, with keynote talks on generative AI.
A discussion panel will explore how the EDIH Network can make the most of AI opportunities, featuring prominent voices such as Lucilla Sioli, Director of the AI Office at DG CONNECT and Vasco Pedro, co-founder and CEO of Unbabel, known for blending AI with real-time human translations.
The day will conclude with the EDIH Network Awards Ceremony, celebrating the most outstanding success stories of the network.
Day 2: Collaboration and networking sessions
Day 2 starts with the presentation of the next EDIHs call followed by the presentation of the Artificial Intelligence Act and Digital Markets Act. Panel discussions to foster collaboration and share best practices between EDIHs are included. Workshops will dive into topics like addressing public sector needs, integrating AI into EDIHs and leveraging the Digital Maturity Assessment Tool. Attendees will also have plenty of opportunities to engage in networking sessions, with matchmaking spaces available to facilitate connections.
