Giovanna Galasso is Partner at Intellera Consulting (part of Accenture Group) and the coordinator of CoordinaTEF a support action aimed at strengthening Europe’s commitment to advancing technological innovation and trustworthy AI deployment by addressing common challenges across AI Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs), fostering sector-specific and cross-sector solutions, and creating a unified ecosystem for sustainable, impactful AI implementation across Europe
Giovanna also managed two relevant projects for DG CNECT to set up a network of Digital innovation Hubs focused on AI and the set-up of 48 Digital Innovation Hubs in the new Member States (Smart Factories). She moderates and regularly facilitates the EDIH Network Thematic Working Group on Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a focus on Public Administrations for sharing experiences and knowledge in the domain.
Furthermore, she has led and is involved in numerous projects focused on digital innovation and smart technologies in the Public Sector including Public Sector Tech Watch for DG DIGIT, GovTech Connect for DG CNECT/DIGIT to bring together all the stakeholders of the GovTech ecosystem, SPIN4EIC (EISMEA), to foster innovation procurement across the EU, through direct support to start ups (including the ones working for the PA) and public procurers. She graduated in Political Science and holds a master’s in public management from Federico II University in Naples as well as a Master in Artificial intelligence for the Public sector (AI4GOV) jointly delivered by Politecnico di Milano and Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
