Introduction to deep learning

Train the Trainer course on 6 June 2023 (10:00-12:00 CET) to better enable EDIHs and their representatives to provide introductory-level training on deep learning to their client companies.

This course provides an introduction to deep learning, a class of machine learning algorithms that are revolutionizing our world. The aim of the course is to familiarise trainees with the workflow of a deep learning algorithm and impart the main concepts behind the training of such models.

Topics will include pillars of a deep learning algorithm, how the training of the model happens, some examples of the most famous architectures and some future perspectives, including Large Language Models.
