Description

Train the Trainer course on 20 April 2023 (13:00-15:30 CET) that will enable EDIHs to explain:

  • The difference between Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Internet of Things (IoT);
  • How to set up two different IIoT Platforms and communicate with those platforms.

Trainees will learn:

  • Why we need the revised Purdue model for IIoT, for example, from the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA);
  • The benefits and shortcomings of two different IIoT Platforms - Siemens MindSphere and ThingSpeak - and how to configure them;
  • How to send and read simulated IoT data from Raspberry Pi OS Linux, Windows and browser, using NodeRed visual programming and Python.
