Manufacturing

The Thematic Working Group on Manufacturing was created in 2023, with the launch of the first wave of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH).

It is an active community aiming to connect EDIHs and their customers active in manufacturing, informing them on the development of digital technologies and solutions relevant for manufacturing SME, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence.

Recent activities:

Activities in 2026 included online meetings on 15/04/2026 and on 12/05/2026, and a consolidation session at the EDIH 2026 summit (10/06/2026).

In July 2026, an online workshop was held with Siemens to discuss their industrial AI products and their interest for the EDIH SME customers.

Note: if you are a registered user, after login you will get access to the reports, presentations and other documents discussed during the past meetings.
