The European Commission has built key infrastructure initiatives to shape the AI Innovation Ecosystem – a framework designed to position the EU at the forefront of AI innovation, from lab to market. European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) are a pivotal part of this ecosystem, serving as entry points for businesses and the public sector to the other instruments in the network, such as AI Regulatory Sandboxes, Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs), AI Factories, the AI-on-Demand Platform and the AI Skills Academy.
New initiatives are being launched to equip EDIHs with the expertise and capabilities needed to navigate the evolving AI landscape and play their role.

The new AI Innovation Ecosystem webpage on the Knowledge Hub is your gateway to AI infrastructures, information and resources, including trainings. A webinar series will provide in-depth insight into each initiative of the AI innovation ecosystem and will explore future cooperation opportunities.

Recognition of excellence
An AI ACTor Badge will be awarded to EDIHs that complete the eLearning Trainer the Trainer course and at least 2 webinar-based training programme courses, and pass the course assessments for each.
