The European Week of Regions and Cities is the largest annual event dedicated to cohesion policy taking place in Brussels. It is co-organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and the European Committee of the Regions, with the support of numerous partners across Europe.
#EURegionsWeek brings together politicians, decision-makers, experts, and practitioners of cohesion policy to engage in discussions about the different challenges that European regions and cities face. In their efforts to identify and map out successful solutions, they are joined by stakeholders in business, banking, civil society organisations, academia, the EU institutions, and media.
The 21st edition of this landmark event is scheduled to take place on 9-12 October. The programme boasts an array of sessions designed to cater to a range of interests.
During the conference, the EDIH Network will participate actively and leave its mark. Thanks to its exceptional position as a pan-European network with a strong local presence, it is ideally placed to discuss the ongoing developments and issues surrounding Europe’s digital transformation.
On 10 October, 11:30-12:30 CET, a workshop dedicated to the EDIH Network will present regional and national policymakers with updates and data about the network’s progress, the profiles and capabilities of EDIHs, and real-life examples of how EDIHs are helping SMEs and PSOs in various regions.
