The EU Industry Days conference concluded its 2023 edition with a focus on discussions surrounding the green, digital, and resilient transition. Hosted in Málaga, Spain, the event brought together industry leaders and experts to deliberate on key drivers, opportunities, and challenges shaping Europe’s industrial landscape.
The 2023 EU Industry Days featured a diverse range of plenary and parallel sessions that delved into critical topics, including the EU’s open strategic autonomy, the integration of Ukraine into the single market, and the reinforcement of the EU defense industry’s capacity.
Among the various sessions, the one dedicated to ‘Helping SMEs to go digital: European Digital Innovation Hubs and other networks’ stood out.
It was moderated by Gaspard Demur, Deputy Head of Unit, Digital Transformation of Industrial Ecosystems at the Directorate-General for Communication Networks, Content, and Technology of the European Commission, and featured the participation of Silvia de la Maza from the Digital Transformation Accelerator.
Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to connect with potential partners through matchmaking, gain insights from experts on EU initiatives that support industrial stakeholders with know-how and funding, and explore an extensive exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions.
