The EDIH Network continues to promote the digital transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Public Sector Organisations (PSOs) across Europe. As EDIHs are providing more services, this initiative continues to guide and transform Europe’s digital landscape towards a digitalised future.
Providing services to SMEs and PSOs
The Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA) tool has seen a widespread adoption with 4,700+ assessments performed for SMEs and PSOs, by May 2024. These assessments are crucial for mapping out digital transformation journeys and identifying areas for improvement.
This has resulted in over 7,300+ services delivered by the EDIH Network members to SMEs and PSOs, which provide specialist guidance and assistance to European businesses. In just two months, from March to May 2024, the number of registered services more than doubled, jumping from 3,700+ to an impressive 7,300+, reflecting the growing activity and engagement of EDIHs.
Recognition Through Badges
The EDIH Network’s Badge Programme, launched in December 2024, has awarded 149 badges to 75 EDIHs, recognising their achievements in the different categories, such as 'Test Before Invest', 'Support to Find Investment', 'Training and Skills Development', 'Networking and Access to Innovation Ecosystems', and DMAs performed. This recognition not only highlights the EDIHs' accomplishments but also incentivises continued excellence and service provision.
Digital Speed Test: Accelerating Digital Journeys
The Digital Speed Test (DST), a tool for quick self-evaluation of digital capabilities, has registered 280+ tests by May 2024. The test has been very well received by organisations from several sectors, being education, public administration, and manufacturing the sectors with higher number of tests.
