Kirke Maar is the manager of AI & Robotics Estonia (AIRE EDIH) since its' creation in 2021. She has 25 years of leadership experience in coordinating large scale collaboration networks and projects that are publicly co-funded.
By 2024 AIRE EDIH is the largest AI community in Estonia by involving actively more than 50 organisations as key players from public, private and non-profit sector, serving more than 200 SMEs (EDIH clients) actively every day and offering cross-border services with other EDIHs. Among other services, more than 2000 participants have visited monthly AIRE clubs for networking and AI awareness raising, 1000 in trainings and webinars, 54 pilot experiments with SMEs for test before invest with universities' teams and technology labs. Previously, Kirke worked for 18 years as a leadership and financing consultant in the private sector and has helped to initiate many Estonian impactful projects in research, business, tourism and social affairs to find funding, set targets and clear goals, and to cooperate to achieve them. Kirke is a leader who believes in active involvement of stakeholders and team members to empower and impact positive change.
