Part 1 of this course provided by EDITH will present the success story of Staatstheater Darmstadt (STD), a theatre that finds its roots in the early 19th century, which stands out for the variety of genres it houses, including opera, ballet, drama and concerts. This part of the course will examine how Staatstheater Darmstadt partnered up with EDITH to tackle their operational inefficiencies and digitalisation needs.
During this part of the course EDITH will present and explain the projects they developed to address the challenges of the theatre. They will examine the three main strategies idenfied to help the theatre in its digitalisation process, including: the integration of real-time data from Theasoft and Biletix to visualise sales more effectively, the establishment of a customer loyalty system across theatres using blockchain and the development of a digital twin solution to improve scheduling & physical stage.
Part 2 will present a comprehensive analysis of the Global Theatre markets, exploring ballet and opera performance trends, its benefits and the role of digital theater in the current landscape.
