Description
INNDIH AI Connect is the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) of the Valencian Region. The initiative, coordinated by ITI, a technology centre specialised in ICT, builds on the work carried out by INNDIH during the 2023–2025 period and opens a new stage with a stronger focus on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and other advanced digital technologies by companies and public administrations.
The project represents the largest public-private partnership within the regional innovation ecosystem around digitalisation and the introduction of new technologies, bringing together technology centres, public universities, health research institutes, the regional business confederation and the main business associations, as well as chambers of commerce, public administrations and other key regional stakeholders. This collaboration, which is also supported by the regional government (GVA), provides participants with broad scientific and technological knowledge, experimentation infrastructures, connection to a wide regional, national and international ecosystem, and support to accelerate the uptake of these new technologies.
INNDIH AI Connect builds on the experience gained during the previous INNDIH stage, in which almost 1,000 services were delivered to more than 600 companies, most of them SMEs, and more than €4 million in additional funding was mobilised. On this basis, the new period reinforces specialisation in Artificial Intelligence, while continuing to address other key technologies such as Big Data, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, robotics, IoT and immersive technologies.
The main objective is to help companies and public administrations understand, test and adopt these technologies in a practical and secure way, aligned with their real needs. To this end, the service offer is structured around four main areas: Test Before Invest, to test technologies before investing; digital training and skills development; support in accessing funding; and connection with the innovation and networking ecosystem. These services enable organisations to advance in their digital maturity, reduce risks in technology adoption and access specialised capabilities that would otherwise be difficult to incorporate.
INNDIH AI Connect also maintains a clear European vocation. The hub is part of the European EDIH network and strengthens its connection with strategic initiatives such as the Digital Transformation Accelerator, the AI-on-Demand Platform, AI Factories, Testing and Experimentation Facilities, Data Spaces and sandboxes aimed at the responsible deployment of Artificial Intelligence.
With all this, INNDIH AI Connect consolidates its position as the reference point in the Valencian Region for promoting a more advanced, collaborative and impact-oriented digitalisation, helping Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies become a real lever for competitiveness, innovation and transformation for companies, public administrations and society.
Each of the badges reflects the hub’s reported activity and services already provided to SMEs, mid-caps and public sector organisations, while also showing the hub’s contribution to the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs.
