Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub
L-DIH is the central hub of the digital ecosystem in Luxembourg and supports the acceleration of the digitalisation of the approximately 500 industrial organisations present on the Luxembourg territory. L-DIH reaches already 250 companies in Luxembourg and plans to support 25 companies in the rest of Europe via the EDIH network collaboration.
The L-DIH consortium is a consortium made by the major industry-oriented research and technology organisations:
- the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)
- the University of Luxembourg (UL)
- the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC), competence centre on cybersecurity
- the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre (ULCC), life-long learning competence centre
- and is coordinated by Luxinnovation (LXI), the Luxembourg national innovation agency
Additionally, the L-DIH gathers as associated partners all the stakeholders supporting research and innovation in Luxembourg as well as industry outreach with:
- the Luxembourg business federation (FEDIL)
- the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CCL)
- the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR)
While the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy (MECO) and the Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy of the Luxembourg Ministry of State (SMC) are also part of the L-DIH as observers.
The L-DIH works in close collaboration with the Supercomputing Luxemburg, the national competence center in High-Performance Computing and the European Enterprise Network, both hosted at Luxinnovation. The L-DIH leverages the following technical infrastructure which is operated by partners of the L-DIH or external partners of L-DIH: MeluXina petascale supercomputer, a test lab for discrete manufacturing, a test lab for process control, a cyberattack simulator called room #42 and cyber monitoring room control.

Our services
L-DIH informs and inspires the manufacturing industry raising awareness on the digital transformation opportunities and creating networking events. The services under this pillar represent the entry door to the Digital Maturity Assessment and the services under the other pillars.
The L-DIH manages a catalogue of test-before-invest facilities in the country and is the one-stop-shop for SMEs to engage in test-before-invest through the L-DIH. L-DIH supports identification and preparation of the testing and post-test analysis, but the test-before-invest is delivered by the providers that own the facilities.
L-DIH manages the catalogue of existing trainings manufacturing industry from L-DIH partners and associated partners. L-DIH provides company digital skills maturity assessment and guides the customer through the most efficient training path to reach the identified objectives of company digital transformation.
L-DIH organises dedicated info-session of the public funding & private funding opportunities to support digital transformation of manufacturing companies. L-DIH signposting toward relevant existing funding services.
