The L-DIH is structured like a DNA’s double helix:
One helix following the customer journey with the setting of 3 streams:
- Inform: provide all relevant information on technology and processes related to demystify Industry 4.0
- Inspire: put in contact with relevant peers or suppliers to get inspired to launch digital transformation projects
- Engage: Support the customers in the realisation of their digital transformation projects
The other helix following the 4 pillars of a DIH as described in the call text

The L-DIH is funded by the European Commission and by the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy.
The services delivered by the L-DIH have a cost but this cost is fully subsidized 50% by the European Commission and 50% by the Ministry of Economy. Therefore the L-DIH services are rendered at no cost to the benefitting company but the 50% part of the costs subsidized by the Ministry of Economy is considered as state aid and therefore needs to be accounted as such by the Benefitting Company to comply with European regulations.
