L-DIH has taken an active role in the network of EDIH and has already initiated cooperative work with other EDIH-candidates and EDIH funded on the first wave. L-DIH has been participating to the DIHnet precursor network activities, taking the co-chair of the Working Group “Testing Interregional collaboration”.
L-DIH has established a primary cooperation with the other EDIH-candidates focusing on the manufacturing sector from the Greater Region (WalHub (BE), EDIH BIR-MZ-KL (DE), IDIH-Saarland (DE), EDIH Grand Est (FR)). A Joint-Declaration has been signed on the 1st December 2021. The collaboration is meant to start from 2023 once most of the Greater Region EDIH will be up and running.
The 5 EDIHs share the willingness to establish joint-activities and investigate joint-investment toward a potential cross-border EDIH on mid-term basis and to structure cooperation as from day 1.
