In a significant stride towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe, the EDIH Network’s Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA) in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content, and Technology (DG CNECT), and the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) have unveiled the Strategic Guidelines for Cooperation among key European networks. This initiative, driven by the Networking the Networks Working Group (WG), sets out to streamline collaboration among the following networks:
- European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Network
- Enterprise Europe Network
- Cluster Europe Network
- Startup Europe
The launch of these guidelines follows a rigorous development process that began during the EDIH Annual Summit 2023. The four dedicated working subgroups within the main WG unveiled their draft guidelines:
- Cooperation Guidelines for Testing before Investment
- Cooperation Guidelines for Skills and Training
- Cooperation Guidelines for Supporting Investment
- Cooperation Guidelines for Building an Innovation Ecosystem and Networking
Building upon this momentum, these groups continued their collaborative efforts throughout the summer period to refine and enhance these guidelines further.
The final versions were presented during the Enterprise Europe Network Annual Conference, which took place 15-17 November 2023 in Bilbao, Spain.
These strategic guidelines promise to be a catalyst for enhanced cooperation and synergy among Europe’s leading networks, ultimately driving digital transformation, innovation, and economic growth throughout the EU.
