Description

Since July 2026, Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub 2.0 is strengthening its position as a digitalisation compass for SMEs and midcaps in Luxembourg, expanding from manufacturing to additional sectors : transport and logistics, construction and craftsmanship, skilled crafts, wholesale and retail trade, hospitality and restaurants. The consortium is coordinated by Luxinnovation, with LIST, University of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity as core partners, complemented by the Digital Learning Hub, FEDIL, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Skilled Crafts and the National Research Fund as associated partners, ensuring complementarity of expertise; the Ministry of Economy and the Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy act as observers. The main objective is to accelerate adoption of digital and AI technologies by engaging 500 new SMEs and delivering 400 services by mid-2029, while brokering at least 200 ecosystem connections to digital providers and ecosystem initiatives. L-DIH 2.0 delivers the full EDIH portfolio of services (skills and trainings, innovation ecosystem & networking, test before invest, and support to find investment), with a reinforced focus on acting as a bridge towards the ecosystem of digital service & solution providers. An AI Helpdesk and a specific data readiness pathway bridge firms from digital and data basics towards concrete AI deployment through the AI Factory. L-DIH 2.0 will reinforce AI uptake through joint service pathways, aligned terminology and handovers with the Luxembourg AI Factory, enabling SMEs to progress from digital and data readiness to trustworthy, secure AI adoption. L-DIH 2.0 consolidates the EDIH network by operating a national hub tightly connected to the European EDIHs network and other national initiatives like the NCC for HPC and the Luxembourg AI Factory. The L DIH will also continue the Greater region collaboration established during the past years.

Each of the badges reflects the hub’s reported activity and services already provided to SMEs, mid-caps and public sector organisations, while also showing the hub’s contribution to the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs.
