EDIH Academy

The EDIH Academy is a digital platform that provides access to a wide range of online training resources for all EDIH Network members.

The Academy is your gateway to two complementary types of training resources:

  1. ‘Train the Trainer’ courses developed by EDIHs for the EDIH Network are hosted on the EDIH Academy eLearning Platform (user registration/login is required to gain access). All live training sessions are recorded and available to view. All courses are announced on this page.
  2. Relevant training courses available on other e-learning platforms (e.g.: MOOC platforms). These courses are either available free of charge or have a free of charge option – e.g.: free to attend (no certificate), with the option to attain a certificate for a small fee.

    Building resilience with digital systems

    Train the Trainer course on 20 June 2023 (09:00-11:00 CET) that will present best practices and tools to analyse key areas of resilience building in local communities, with an emphasis on climate change, energy efficiency and resource planning.

    Training session on 15 June 2023 (10:00-11:00 CET) that will present effective social media strategies to empower EDIHs to promote their hubs, showcase their work and attract clients.

    Introduction to deep learning

    Train the Trainer course on 6 June 2023 (10:00-12:00 CET) to better enable EDIHs and their representatives to provide introductory-level training on deep learning to their client companies.

    Train the Trainer course on 22 May 2023 (10:00-12:00 CET) to better enable EDIHs and their representatives to provide introductory-level training on cross-site scripting to their client companies, covering both offensive and defensive aspects of cybersecurity.

    Automation and robotics

    Train the Trainer course on 19 May 2023 (12:00-15:00 CET) to help EDIH team members that are less familiar with the fields of automation and robotics to gain a better understanding of how these technologies can help SMEs, and to learn about implementation good practices.

    Train the Trainer Course on 16 May 2023 (10:00-12:00 CET) to better enable EDIHs and their representatives to provide introductory-level training on machine learning to their client companies. Topics include types of learning, frameworks, popular algorithms and their application.

    Train the Trainer Course - Part 2 - on 9 May 2023 (13:00-16:00 CET) that provides in-depth content on 4 crowdfunding models (donation, reward, loans and investment) and operational knowledge on each crowdfunding model.
